Hi

Really wanted to make it to the meet tonight but bike has just been hauled back to HD Chester with engine trouble.

Hopefully will make it on the next one.

Is anyone going up to the Lake District rally in a couple of weeks?

You can always tag along with us from the North West if you like.
We'll be going up on Friday and you'd be more than welcome.

Opposite of the "Chocolate of dating", you know it's bad for you, but you go for it anyway.

I'm with Olga - good for you & tastes great ... but can beat a bit of dairymilk :D

If the offer is still open, then it would be great to travel up with folk. When and where are you going to meet for the trip - need to plan around work.

Looks like my bike is back out of the workshop - coil had gone. So really looking forward to it. Couple of folk I met at the Region 9 rally said it was one of the best.

He has passed the Rally Virgin mantle on to someone else.

Olga, we made the King of Veg. camp last year at the Lakes when we lent him a tent the size of a sock, and just to make doubly sure he camped at Oswestry too.

Must admit I was shocked that he had invested 30 quid on his own tent for the NE rally.

However, as far as I am aware, he STILL hasn't undergone the HOG girls initiation thus far. Since he is a veggy you will have to use something other than a sausage for the ceremony,.... an aubergine perhaps:confused:

I know that the girth of said vegetable may be a bit harsh, but we can always drain a bit of engine oil from a bike to smooth the way:eek:

I only bought a tent because, if I was on my own at the NE, I wouldn't have been able to get out of the one I borrowed last year.

In extreme temperatures I put my tent up. I worked up a sweat getting my erection in place and even if I say so myself, it got many an admiring glance, and stayed up all weekend.:):)

Having undergone a rigorous initiation last year (tomato sauce holds no fear for me now) I'm ready for any tenting challenge. Providing root vegetables aren't involved.:D
