Best shop to service your ride

Hi all,

I've just acquired a 2015 Softail slim and I'm already looking for a near future to service it (it currently have 9600 miles and tyres are 5 years old). Do you generally go to the official shop and do you have some places, fairly priced with trustable service and mechanics ?

There used to be one in Chingford, near the mount, but he left and set up in Holloway and I think they've disappeared now. You could try asking up at High Beech when the hog boys start emerging up there on Sundays. Some of them use Lakeside Harley.

There's John's Bikes in Barnet. He's a good bloke, but not a Harley specialist. Been there about 25 years and he does MOT's. Always busy, you could give him a ring and find out.

A lot of the local essex lot i know swear by Rockys Motorcycles, a well respected harley trained indy! Hes based off of the a127 and i enquired about a 5k service for my breakout yesterday, and he came back at ?185 or another ?25 if fully synth oil was wanted! I think Blackbear hd at Newmarket quoted ?266 and im waiting for Maidstone hd to reply!

Thanks all, I'll have a look and ask for quotes for my next 10k service.
